The starter on my 1932 confederate sedan is going bad,does anyone rebuild them or have rebuilt ones for sale?

The Filling Station and Chevs of the 40s used to offer rebuilding service. A phone call should verify if they still do.

What is the correct part number for the Delco starter? Seen some on line for sale with different numbers.

There are many VCCA members in Ohio so perhaps joining VCCA and a local chapter would help to put you in contact with someone locally who does rebuildng and has a good reputation. Those starters are heavy and the cost of shipping can add greatly to the overall cost of a rebuild.
