New member here.

I'm looking at an old 1966 (?) Chevy 60 truck. It is an old dually dump truck. We cranked it up the other day and it sounded good. I am having a mechanic look at it this week.

The only big problems I have noticed are a little oil leaking around the #1 cylinder and some oil on the rear end.

That looks like a great truck.

Make sure you have the brakes working properly before driving it around. Typically the brake and fuel systems suffer the most from a vehicle sitting a long period of time.

Great looking truck, I've toyed with the idea of purchasing one of these myself

Hi Eric

What engine?
We still use a 1963 Canadian GMC with a 292 six.
Great engine. Lots of low speed torque. Seldom kill it letting out the clutch.

The truck is a 1964, according to the fender emblems. Hendo
