OP trreinke Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 124 Michigan	I have a couple of reproduction Grille emblems that I would like to use on my car. I tried soldering the correct clips for a 1931 Stone guard and all the paint discolored. How have other people made their reproduction emblems work?

Chipper ChatMaster - 15,000 Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 19,758 Likes: 63 The Great State of TEXAS	If the emblems have the glass like cloisonné coloring it will not be destroyed by soldering. I don't know what is used on the repops. I suggest using a good quality two part epoxy. If the parts are clean and lightly sanded the epoxy will adhere well and hold the needed parts. How Sweet the roar of a Chevy four!
