I have a 29 AC Coach. The date code and casting numbers on the block are correct for the car. The distributor is a 644R Delco Remy. I ordered new cap rotor and they do not fit. Can someone please tell me what a 644R Delco Remi distributor fits?

Thanks
Kerry

The cap for your car should be about 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Does this match your distributor or your new cap?

My cap is about 3" in diameter. My distributor appears to function fine. I'm okay with keeping it as long as I can figure out replacement parts for it. Thanks for the help.

The 644R shows to be for a 1934 Master. Not sure how it will work on your car but it may be best to have the distributor that the factory engineers approved for use .

Great info! That's exactly what I needed to know. I would like to have the correct distributor, but the current one seems to be working ok. Looks like a mid level priority for "the list".

Thank you very much,
Kerry
