Hi,
I just blew the fuse on my car and I have been told that a 1/4" x 5/8 lg. fuse is not correct. This ia what I have and it is marked 1AG 6 on it which is a 6 amp fuse. What is correct to use?

It requires a 20 Amp fuse....consult your owners manual.

Hello 31DeluxeRoadster,
I do not disagree with Chev Nut regarding the recommended fuse. What I am interested in is what and where your blown fuse is connected to. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if the vehicle has only one fuse or not.

The 20 Amp fuse is mounted on the headlight switch and is the only fuse in the car.
