are all 49-52 sedan delivery from the firewall to the back the same body in other words could i put a 49-50 dashboard and front sheet metal and make a 51-52 into a 49 or 50 thanks

Gene, I heard many moons ago that the front fenders from a '49-'50 will not match up to the front doors of a '51-'52 because the curvature of the '49-'50 doors from the rocker panels up to the "crease" below the door windows is different to that of a '51-52. Is this true or just another urban myth?
