Good Day All,
I took possession of a 26 Engine & Chassis many moons ago, accompanied by the ususal collection of loose parts and paraphernailia.
I never established what body style it had been and the chassis is long gone. I am only personally familiar with closed cars, but there was a set of windshield posts which I assume are from a roadster or touring. I don't know if they are from a 26 Chevy or some other year or make. If anybody recongizes them i would certainly be grateful to establish what they belong to.
............Thanks for Your time and attention.............Joe............[Linked Image from vccachat.org]

Hi, do not think this is for any Touring or Roadster 1925 or 1926 as far as I know. I have not seen anything like that among the parts I have collected here in Norway for 490`s to 1928.

Thanks very much. It occurred to me that the Gentleman I acquired the 26 Chevy parts from (long since passed) had a 23 Overland touring, so I am going to start looking in that direction for a match...............Much appreciated...........Joe............

I think it's off something earlier, like 1910 when they had a vertical wooden dash to bolt on and the windscreen bellied out on either side.

. Hi Joe, . I just visited the 4 cylinder meet in Porterville and noticed the windshield post several open Chevys. The 490 and National (1928) had posts that used 3 bolts to the side of the cowl. The 1922 FB in the photo used post similar to the ones you pictured.

Thanks very much Lou,
I'm going to have to track down some of these models to view in person to visually compare. Nice of you to keep this in mind at the 4 cylinder meet. I really just want them to go to someone who can hopefully use them................Joe..................
