Hello Tarheel xrd So you are showing a picture of a cone style clutch. I think '24 was the last year that Chevrolet used a cone clutch and the '25 model was changed to the disc style we are all familiar with today. You will have to tell us what you actually need.

3, or 4 years ago I sold a transmission out of a Chevrolet that would have been behind the cone style clutch. The outside of the case itself looked basically the same as the later style transmission cases used up to and including 1931. The difference was how it mounted to the engine and clutch cover. I believe you should be able to use the entire internal components from one of the years listed. That would be virtually ALL of the internal components as in no mixing and matching, especially the '29 transmission that had a 10 spline main shaft instead of the 6 spline main shaft like all of the other years. The pilot shaft from the '24 will be short and square and the pilot shaft from the '25 to '31 will have a spline to match the clutch disc. Rebuild kits and gasket sets are available from the Filling Station. You can use a front sealed bearing, or the Billy Possum neoprene pilot shaft seal.
