How does one get the Avatar changed ? I have gone to my profile twice and changed it and clicked on "use this avatar" but it doesn't get changed.

You need to upload or link to your avatar. There are size limits. I am choosing one of the forum provided avatars so don't think there is a link or upload required for that. I click on the one I want then click on "use this avatar" but nothing happens. What am I missing ?? Dick

In the menu choose "preferences" here you also have to select yes to "show avatars".

I checked his profile and "no avatar" is checked so a stock one will be inserted.

Thanks for your replies (Morten &Chipper). When this gets posted I guess we will see if it worked. Hopefully the train avatar will be there as it had been since I joined chat years ago.
