I have some pictures of parts I need for my 38. First where can I find these weird nuts that go in the top bows? Next I would like to know where I can find the end caps on the front seat like these. Lastly I had some leather straps in the well where the top folds into when the top is down. Was this original or something that was added afterwards?

John, The nuts are sometimes referred to as tee nuts and are more commonly found now with a round base rather than rectangular. The round ones can be easily modified to replicate yours. They can be found on page 212 of the Restoration Specialities and Supply catalog. Page 178 of the same catalog shows a variety of welt tip end caps that may be suitable.

Thank you Mike. A friend is sending me an old catalog. So I will be ordering some. Thanks again.
