Behind the grill, in front of the radiator. I call it a splitter. It pinches between the grill halves. The holes along the right side of your first picture line up with the screw holes down the inside center of your grill. It'll have an offset for the hand crank right behind the crank hole in the grill. I'm sorry that I don't have a good picture. You can sort of see it in this photo. Feel free to ask any questions. It is perfectly described by Tiny, It is fastened between the two halves of the grille. It was used to direct air through the grille in cross winds. also kind of rienforced the grille
