I had a real struggle to remove the right qtr window. AFTER I finally had it out I found the remains of the weatherstrip tangled in the regulator. I do have the 49 "A" Body manual however I learned the Bel Air is a little different as there is a removable panel at the top rear of the window opening. After watching a youtube video I thought my car did not have the panel but discovered it hidden under the upholstery padding that had adhered to the tar seam sealer. The left side was MUCH easier.

More questions around the quarter window. The channel that the window rises up into has fuzzies inside. It is made up of two halfs spot welded together. I need to replace the fuzzies so looking for info on the best way to do that. Right now it appears that the spot welds need to be drilled out so each half can be uncrimped where the fuzzies attach.
