I am not having any luck on my WANTED ad in the G&D for an outside rearview mirror for my '41 Chev . Question.... What other year mirrors would look similar and work? Clamp on left side mirror. Thanks JIM

The expensive kingBee mirror looks most like the originals.

What does the correct mirror look like? Does anyone have a picture? I am working on a 41 and it came with a lot of parts but some are not for this car, others are aftermarket, reproduction etc.

I have found that having an old car is a constant project that is never done. I think that is a good thing. Keeps me learning new things. Having two from different eras is just a form of higher education.

Gene Schneider ---- You told me earlier that the KingBee outside rear view mirror from Filling Station was the closest to original for my 1941 Chevrolet. Which KingBee mirror, what is the catalogue number from Filling Station? Thanks Jim

That is correct and be sure to order the VC 57 clip as the mirror is made to be attached with screws that require drilling holes as a convertible would need. Some years back the mirror came as a clamp on and the clip was not necessary.
