I'm rebuilding the bottom edge of my cowl for my 27/28 truck and need to replace the bottom couple inches of steel. I am wondering if there is a contour to that bottom edge in the bend that folds under the wood sill, or if it is more or less in a straight line from front to back? I started making a patch panel for one side actually starting kinda straight back from the front but curved it outboard and ran it more or less straight to just a few inches of the hinge edge, then rolled it back in slightly. IDK if it should have this "S" shape to it or be more straight? Some pictures may be in order, or maybe I need to post a drawing of about what I did.
