My maiden voyage ended up with a broken linkage and no ability to accelerate, luckily I was only 2 houses from home. I have the repair manual and have been looking through service news. jack39rdstr ChatMaster - 3,000 Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 3,192 Likes: 8 Australia	It looks like the bolt has broken off that holds the bell crank and spring return brackets to the block, seen in the upper part of the picture, is a Broken bolt thread in the engine side. Trying to figure how it’s configured and what kind of bolt to use, size..etc. I read it’s a shoulder bolt. Are there springs that are used? I didn’t find any when I got the car back to the garage.
