The number "C40945" is stamped on the flywheel of my 1922 490. What's that mean (site where vehicle was built?)?

The C40945. Flywheel number indicates the 490 engine was the 340945th engine built at the Flint engine factory, it does not give any other information as to the assembly plant the vehicle was assembled at. The aluminium plate fitted on the firewall under the dash should normally help with that information.

Your welcome John, just check to see if the ā€œcā€ is not a ā€œGā€.
