I just got done a frame off resto on a 65 Corvette coupe. The only thing I didnt do myself was replace the dash wiring harness. I had a "Corvette Guru" do this because buisness called me away for a few months. Long story short, the left side of the dash lights blink like christmas tree lights. They all blink independently of each other. This Makes no sence to me since all the dash lights are on one circuit. Before I tear into the dash harness I was wondering if anyone has run across this. I am new to this post so thanks in advance.

Check the bulbs, The 1965 passenger (B-Body)used a flasher bulb in the park brake light in the cluster. I used to get these Christmas Tree flashing clusters in the repair hole when the operator who was bulbing the cluster harness got his bulbs mixed up and put the flasher bulb in every socket. Perhaps your Corvette Guru has a supply of these bulbs and is not aware of the difference. You can tell the difference just by comparing the bulbs.

Froggyman, Thanks for the E-mail, glad that the bulb suggestion worked out for you. You might try selling some of those rare bulbs since most were replaced by the standard bulb when they burned out.
