Does anyone know if a wiring harness listed by Rhode Island Wiring for a 1916 - 1918 Chev 490 work for a 1922 Chev 490. They also list one for a 1923 Chev Superior Series B would that work? I don't really want to take the harness out of my car at this time the car is working OK.
Thanks Michael McDonald

The wiring harness for the 1916 - 1918 Chevrolet 490 is a little different from that of the 1922. For the 1916 - 1918 cars the harness has a two wire headlight connector where the 1922 has a one wire headlight connector. Also the switch panel for 1916 -1918 is a four button panel.

If you need a wiring harness, you may want to contact YnZ Yesterdays Parts to see if they can help. They do list different year model harnesses on the web site. www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com

There may be other suppliers available out there.

I'm not sure of the 490 differences, but I will say that I'm happy with the YnZ harness that I have in my '23.

Thank you for your help. YnZ is able to make the wiring harness for the 1922 Chevy 490 Touring. I am in the queue now it will be 6 -8 weeks.
