Yes, I have and am considering the 6004. But I came across a very nice 6002, which is “period correct” for the 1942 and 1946 trucks. It also does not have the self cancelling wheel, which would be non functional on pre 1947 Chevrolets.
The 6002 has a FIVE wire connection, originally. I know that it can be converted to a seven wire connection thru a REWIRE, which allows the use of a 6 volt flasher AND also allows use of current front parking lights and rear brake lights without modification of those four components.
That’s my goal. In the past, I have read posts about certain individuals that restore these switches and can do the conversion, however I am at a lost for those posts and the specific individual’s contact info. That’s what I am trying to acquire.
With a great 6002 in hand, I really do not want to use a 6004, if possible.
