I need power to keep my phone charged so were there any under dash mounted lighters available in the late 30s from GM or aftermarket companies,I just do not want to put anything modern looking on my 37 p/u.

You can still buy the lighter receptacles and you should be able to fabricate a simple under the dash holder from thin stainless for the receptacle.
