I am working at replicating this model of a '38 COE. Looked all over the web and could not find a picture of one with the hood open. Does the whole cab tilt? Someone here must know. thanks, Pat

Got this from a brochure for sale on ebay. Look at center/bottom picture. Show engine top end being serviced inside cab. Hope it helps.

Are you going to build the real thing or a scale model.

The two little doors on the front were the access doors for under hood area. As stated floor panels were remove for engine access. 1941 was the first year for a alligator style hood on the medium duty GM COEs. GM didn't have a tilt cab until 1960.
