I have 30 some items that were purchased for a 38 Chevy coupe project I no longer own. I am thinking of listing these in the for sale forum section. What is the best way to send/receive payment? The parts are mostly NOS and include starter, W-1 carb, Delco rebuilt glass bowl fuel pump, and lots more. Also have a very nice recast Banjo wheel with NOS horn button and nice original fender skirts and a rare rebuilt 4 terminal regulator. I'm thinking postal money orders. Any VCCA members experienced with forum buying or selling advice?

I personally do paypal. There is a small fee for the seller but since it's tied to the buyers credit card or bank account the money has to be there. I sent you a PM.

I normally take personal or business checks and do not wait for them to clear. Most of what I sell are to people who contact me and either repair shops or VCCA members. I still trust people and so far have not had many problems. If non-USA I take PayPal and charge them the fee.

I have used/accepted personal checks from VCCA members and those not members postal money orders or a bank check. I have never had a problem with any VCCA member however most items I have sold were not high dollar items- most under $100 and a few around 4-5 hundred. My biggest concern was insurance for items lost in shipping

Thanks for the reply's. I had to hold back the skirts and banjo wheel when I traded the 38 to recoup some of my car cash. The other parts are items I stashed away and no longer need. Still need to get pictures taken and hunt down shipping boxes. Shipping USPS with full insurance and tracking seems best. Any damage claims I've ever had with USPS were quickly handled without a hassle, not too sure about UPS or FedEx claims. Best to be covered just in case.
