I'm having problems with my '75 Caprice convertible top. It's a very nice car and I've owned it for 16 years. However, the scissors top has never worked properly.I have worked on it many times to no avail. It either gets worse or stays the same. I've had other people look at it but no one can fix it properly.I've even gone so far as to remove a scissors top assy. from a '76 Cadillac and want to transplant it to my car. I'm not afraid to try and switch top assys. but would like to have someone to confer with while switching it over. all help greatly appreciated. Thanks,lkenkel1975.

Those tops were not GMs best idea and I have repaired many down through the years, you will need a Fischer body manual before doing anything to it as it will give you info on the adjustments needed.
