I know this has been discussed before but I could not locate it. I have 2 door/trunk handles that have the key number stamped in them. Can someone post how those numbers translate into key notches so I can have some made? Thanks - Art

Art, my advice is to send the door handles to a lock smith that is experienced on older auto locks. One has an ad in the G&D. A couple years ago, I sent a handle to Douglas Vogel in Michigan (734-223-7581), and he did it very quickly. They will have the appropriate service tools for cutting new keys according to the codes on the handles. By having the handles available, they are able to test fit the keys after they are cut and adjust accordingly.
