The car had an orange oil filler tube with a black cap. I do have to admit the orange tube looks funny, but don't know if it's correct... bobalouie Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 418 denver	I had a brand new, 1967 Camaro, and have been working on and rebuilding sbc since 1960. Everyone that I have seen has had a semi-gloss black oil fill tube with the same color for the breather cap. Most guys replaced them with a chrome tube and cap within the first year. Bobalouie
