Did Chevrolet have a name for the 1941 to 1946 truck series that was used DURING the time they were produced?
They of course got the name "art deco" trucks later, but I'm wondering if the company actually had a name for them.
Later trucks had names like Advanced Design etc... and earlier ones seem to have gone by the same names as the cars, like National and International for example.
But what about the 41-46's?

Advanced Design is the first 'name" Chevrolet had for trucks.

The Advanced Design designation started in the 1947 second series, didn't it?
My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .

Yes.
The Advance Design trucks started with the 1947 model year.
As SPANKY says, the 1941-46 trucks are commonly called "Art Deco" style.
I've also heard the term "Victory Six".
I'm not sure what the term refers to, but possibly was used in reference to the large number of Chev trucks sent over seas and their contribution to winning WW2?

The 1941-1946 Art Deco name was never used back in the day.. That is a prestent day description refering to their styling.
I have a 1947 Chvolet folder and the Advance Desing name shown.
Dodge used Victory Six in the 1920's before it was purchased by the Chrysler Cop.
