Geez, I backed my trailer into the right rear fender of my 33 chevy coupe. It isn't just the fender that was damaged though. I looks like the whole wooden frame of the coupe was shifted. The doors don't line up anymore. The hood is pushed up against the radiator housing and the rumble seat lid is not in alignment anymore. Does anyone know of a shop that can fix this kind of damage? I live in Golden Valley, Arizona. It is near Kingman.

Jon,

I would start with Dean Echols, who is the new Area 1 Director. He lives in AZ, and may be able to point you to a shop in AZ. That failing, contact the two region directors for AZ as they may know someone in their regions who can recommend a shop.
That's a tough repair and certainly left to a pre-war expert.

You can find their info on the VCCA home page once you log in.

If you strike out, check the Craigslist ads under services. I found a very good retired body guy in my area who did my body work on my 51. Obviously, you need to vet those folks carefully and get references. BTW--my body guy was NOT a pre-war expert and no longer lives in my area. Worse case scenario, you may need to trailer it East to find a pro who can restore wood framing.

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It is sure appreciated. Two days ago Hagerty insurance towed it to a body shop in Las Vegas. They are going to give it a really good inspection to see just what damage has been done. I will make a decision on how to proceed once I get the report from them. I have to say that Hagerty Insurance has really impressed me with how they are handling this.

Here is a short video of the shop it was taken to:

The wood inner structor must be very weak to cause that much body distortion with just fender damage.
