I added a third brake light to my '53 210. I took an old implement light that has been living on my shelf for some years, cut most of the shaft off, welded a mounting plate to the end of the shaft, mounted it to a piece of plywood I cut and covered with upholstery material and placed it on the package shelf. The light had a clear lens so I got a can of stained glass spray and turned the inside of the lens red. I put an 1133 bulb in it and here it is. it has spade male/female connectors on the wires so I can remove it from the package shelf to change the bulb when necessary.

We tied in to the wire off of the brake light switch. It comes on when the brake pedal is pressed and does not blink with the turn signals.
