Has anyone purchased a trunk mat recently? Where did you buy from and were you happy with your purchase. Thanks

I purchased a mat from the "Filling Station" for my 1950 Styleline Deluxe. The mat was very nice, but due to the storing methods and shipping, the mat was disfigured and to this day, and lots of hot sunshine, it still exhibits ugly creases and bunched up spots. This is caused by storing the mats in a vertical position that allows the mat to squash? down in the box and become horribly disfigured. I currently own 4 mats that are very dis-sightful all as a result of the storing and shipping.

I purchased a trunk mat for my 53 in black from these folks and I couldn't be happier with it. I just left it out in the sun for a while and it fit perfectly!!!

I saw the trunk mat for the 49-52 in my copy of the Truck and Car Shop catalog. But when I went online to their site, this mat is discontinued. Thanks anyway.

I have a very nice 53 used one with side panels available but it's too big/heavy to ship

Thanks for the offer, but I think the 1953 mat is different. Also, the color for a 1950 is Taupe.

The 1950 and and 1953 mats are very different. In 1950 the Deluxe models had a browm mat and the eproductions I have seen look just like the originals.
