I am looking for some on on a 68 Chevelle that was supposed to have been built during GM strike in 68. Have a friend who is looking a 68 Chevelle, 396, 4speed. Owner says it was one of 300 or so built during GM strike. These cars were supposed to have been built by management with any parts available. They were supposed to have been called SHELF cars i.e. built with parts off the shelf. This car has Skylark interior. Has been in the family since almost new. Have any of you ever heard of these cars or can you direct me to somewhere I can get info on it. I am goint to try CT on Monday when the site is back up. Thanks in advance for any help.
