I have a 47 chevy which has a later 235" engine in it (I believe). Can someone tell me the year of the engine?

The engine # on a plate next to the distributor is: PAQ440478

thank you

I can not find any engine numbers/letters that come close to that.
If it is a 235 engine the push rod cover will be only about 6 inches high.
There will be a casting number behind (covered by) the starter.
