I have a 1962 Chevy pickup that is being restored by me. Im 17 years old and need to know what color the engine was this particular year. the truck is a dark green and the engine is old but shows some resemblence of a dark color. can someone please help me???

I am assuming that your '62 truck is a 6 cyl.if so the engine is the same blue-gray color used since 1929 .
