Kill the cookies ?

I thought we were supposed to keep the cookies.

Now I'm really confused ....... and still logging in each time.

If you are having problems then kill the cookies. They are taking you down a bad path and keeping them means you will keep on the same path. At least that is the way it has been explained to me.

I thought keeping the cookies was the way to go.

Needless to say, I do not know much about computers, so I'll rid myself of the cookies and see what happens.

Thanks Steve.

Will you be posting a note when the Email situation is under control so we don't have to "TEST" every few hours?

Thanks for the update....we appreciate it. By the way, since it is going to apparently take awhile, you might want to change the notification above that states that you hope have the issue solved within 24 hours and change the notification to reflect that you are currently working on the technical issues and may have the problems resolved soon.

Probably best to send an Email to member services. Not sure how often Peter visits the site and possibly he does not get PM's Emailed to him.

There is a fundamental issue with the forum software.
I'm waiting for their coders to fix it.
In the meantime i'm pondering migrating to new/better forum software.
I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the update. Before the site was switched over to the new system the PM emails worked fine for years. Maybe the site should be changed back to the old system. Like they say......."if it ain't broke don't fix it". bigl

I like some of the new improvements (adding photos to a post etc) so knowing Peter is contemplating newer and better software is encouraging. Two steps forward and one back is still one step forward.

FWIW another forum I'm a Mod on uses the same software and same version. I get email notifications there. Just an FYI.

Tiny,
Give me the webmaster/system admin. Maybe they can give me a hand.
