Has anyone’s early Chevys had any design flaw weak link with the welded on bracket inside under the hood pivot swing arm to lock the hood detaching with one or both tacked welds breaking?

That’s what has happened to my 1934 Chevy Roadster bracket with only one weld still holding on one hood side!

Not a big deal because I am in the process now of a total ground up rebuild and will weld on some more reinforcement bracket to that pivot area!
