My car did not have the straps when I bought it. I don't know if they were there before but the deluxe coupe were supposed to have them. I am assuming they were there at one time. The seats have been recovered and I think the panels have been replaced. Not sure if the headliner has been replaced. There is no evidence that the straps have ever been there.
