Hi, I'm travis cassady from Mechanicsburg Ohio. I learned of this site from the hamb jalopy journal. I'm needing help with my 1940 Chevy coupe. I'm looking to upgrade steering boxes so I can update to a late model steering column with ignition and new wiring. Does anyone have any expertise in this field? Thank you for your time and welcoming me.

Hi Travis,

I also welcome you to the site! As you look through these forums, you'll see that most of the information is geared towards rebuilding as original.

That being said, one area that covers the type of questions that you are asking is our Personalized Chapter, which is located in the Technical - General area. You might get answers by posting your questions in that forum.

Cheers, Dean
