Does anyone out there have an unrestored 1964 Impala with factory positraction who could post a picture of the underside of their trunk lid showing the location of the positraction decal as it was installed at the factory? I would like to duplicate the exact positraction decal location of an unrestored car rather than just putting it on in a random location of my choosing. Any help would be most appreciated.

The location of a decal or label depended on several factors. First the worker that applied it. Second the assembly instructions dictating the location. Whether the decal was installed on every vehicle. Good luck in finding the actual position that the majority of decals were placed. I can assure you with confidence that 100% were not installed there!
