Now that I have a rebuilt 235 in my '48 and want to get good highway speed out of it, what rear end would you recommend i put on it to replace the factory rear end. Thanks.

The stock rear end was a 4.11. The optional in 1948 was a 3.73.
Choices are a 3.70 from a 1953-1954 stick or a 3.55 from a 1950-1954 Power glide. These two are the easiest to find.
