There are 2 numbers on my Rochester. The number on the side is 7003536-13. The number on the bottom of the throttle body is 4478. I think the 7003536 indicates that it came off of a '52 Power Glide car. What does the -13 at the end represent? What is the 4478 number on the bottom determine?

Am I correct in thinking that it uses a #58 jet?

I would appreciate any help and also source of the information.

Thanks, Pete

After more research I found that the carburetor did come from a '52 Power Glide. The information that I found states that the jet should be a #57. The information on the '53 calls for a #58. Is this difference because of changes in the carburetor or the engine or both? What would be consequences of using the wrong one? The carburetor is on a '54 Power Glide engine.

Thanks again.

The changes were in minor changes in the carburetor.
You can run either jet and you will never notice any difference.
If it were mine I woud run the #58.
