I have seen shoulder belts utilized in '50 to '52 Bel Air hardtops, without the B PILLAR, when folks used seats from a TrailBlazer, which does not depend on the B pillar for an anchor.

Have not seen shoulder belts, with stock seats, in a '50 to '52 Bel Air hardtop.
