TJK, what have you used for a tool to collapse and expand your split rims? I have located a Hercules Tool C in the barn and was curious if this is what yourself and others were using?

I am not sure if the rims supplied by Coker have the latches. I believe you need your old latches to be attached to the new rims. Also on original rims there may be four locators pressed in or a seating bead that also is not in the reproduction rims. I have a friend who bought four and these are the issues he found.

Vintage Rims Australia make reproduction rims with the split and catches. Have seen his work and looks very good. Have 5 rims on order at the moment for my Baby Grand.

Hey Steelin Time,
Thanks for sharing this. I just got mine yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Great product. 21” split rim with the latch and ready to go. I’d been fighting with changing tubes on a rim for days. Evidently it was bent. 20” removing the tube and tire from the old one to install on new rim. Went together first time. Vintage Rims Australia Owner Steve Hood was great to work with too.
