generator field and armature
Hi Beam
Horn
Schematic calls for "Natural" colored wire anyone know what that means? Would it be like a muslin shade or something similar.

The generator wire that goes to the center termonal on the voltage regulator is 10 Ga.
Any wires feeding lights as mentioned are 16 Ga.
Any wire supplying the horn is 10 Ga,
Natural is a solid tan color.

Rhode Island Wire is where I got my 41 new wire harness. The Natural wire color on it is a solid YELLOW not Beige. I still have my original wire harness and it does look like beige but I assume it aged to that color?

I do not see any reason why a major distributor of wire harnesses would confuse the two colors? What color are the YNZ harnesses? What company uses a beige wire?

Thanks, Mike

They never used a yellow insulation. Thats is what makes those modern replacement harneses look so fake. The colors are all too bright but that is all that is available today.
If they would have used yellow it would have been described as yellow and not natural.

Hi Gene,

Thanks for the clarification. A lot of assumptions are made that venders are accurate.

Best wishes, Mike

I have a YnZ in my 48. The wires look yellow with different colored dashes on each wire.
