Inside and rumble.

What was the material? Some sort of cloth? Leather?

I don't think they had cloth backed vinyl (Naugahyde) in those days.

Thanks,
Doug

If as you say this was formerly a high point judged restoration, I would assume its what its supposed to be , otherwise the judges failed in their examination and judging of this car.

I do not know what the judging criteria is on some of these older, more rare cars.

"IS" as original, or LOOKS original?

Somewhere, there must be some judging manual, or criteria, which would help.

Thanks,
Doug

If your a member of the VCCA and get the magazine, you will find that there are TECH ADVISORS listed in the book/magazine with email or telephone contact info.

This person or persons is supposed to know everything you ever wanted to ask about the specific year. They may or may not come to this separate entity called VCCA CHAT.

If you go all the way down the sections page you will come to a section about JUDGING. You can try posting questions in there.

Since you joined a little less than a month ago your first magazine should arrive in a few days. Welcome to the VCCA family. I took the liberty to add your VCCA number to your profile and also approve you as a VCCA member. Enjoy the expanded privileges.

To answer your judging question and going from your picture of the interior it was pass for duplicating the original very easily......which is good.
