Have been advised that '57 wagon bodies were fabricated @ the St. Louis plant, then shipped to other plants, as required, for final assembly. Can someone confirm this? A related question; where did Canada's assembly plant (Oshawa, ON) get wagon bodies?

Cleveland was the Fisher Body plant that made all of the steel wagon bodies.
The 4 door 8 passenger and Nomad bodies were Flint built cars so would have Cleveland bodies.(In Canada)
The more common wagon bodies are listed as Osahwa assembled according to my material

Thank you Gene. Was the St. Louis body stamping plant a busy producer of OTHER THAN WAGON bodies shipped to other assembly plants, for example Atlanta?

Cleveland made GM wagon bodies only and they were shipped to the other assembly plants. They did not produce any other body style.
The Lansing plant made convertible bodies and StLouis made some convertible bodies in 1957.
Other than that the "common" bodies were made as each of the many US assembly plants. Fisher Body generally had their plant connected to the Chevrolet assembly plant.
