I am getting all the remaining chrome I have ready to go for plating and I have a question. Is the inside frame painted or chrome? My 32' Olds frame is chrome on the outside and painted black on the inside. It appears to have never been chromed either. The very few other Olds roadsters that are out there have been restored to the owners taste and I have only been able to find pictures of one and it shows the inside frame chrome. That owner though, chromed many other parts that shouldn't have been chromed so I'm in a pickle on this.

The exterior metal frame is chrome plated. It attaches to a wood frame that is just inside the exterior canvas. The wood is covered with fabric on the inside.

Thanks for that info. Ended up having a 32' Olds owner tell me the Olds has a chrome frame on the outside and a painted aluminum frame on the inside. The inside frame gets painted the color of the inside roofing material.
