I believe that information is included in your owner's manual. It is definitly in the repair manual. Both of these items should be in your collection. Some may be in reprint at a very reasonable price. You may scout the internet for a posting of the necessary instructions.

If your engine has the old lifters there could be a varnish coating preventing proper adjustment. The inner piston can hang up in the lifter. The proper way to adjust is _ with the engine running loosen one lifter (rocker arm) adjusting screw at a time. Then slowly tighten screw till the clicking stops and then (slowly) tighten down the screw 1 and 1/2 more turns. Engine may idle rough for several seconds but then smooth out as the oil is forced out of the lifter. If it dosen't smooth out the piston in the lifter is sticking.

That shows adjusting solid lifters, an entirelly different proceedure. To top it off the guy is doing it incorrectly with the engine not running.
