The 29 Cabriolet I know of does not have the original interior but rather a replacement. Are you still interested in photos?

Hi Steve, if I remember correctly you indicated that the person who did the interior was a former employee of Hampton Coach when there were a Chev only shop so yes I would be interested in what he did, especially if photos of the panels behind and to the side of the seat are available. Also interested in the rumble compartment treatment.
Much appreciated,

That is correct and I will try to get the photos you want. I did contact the shop that installed the interior but have not received a positive reply. He does take photos of his work but due to the time lapse and changed computers he was unable to locate the correct hard drive with the photos.

The shop that did the installation did not come thru but I did send you photos that I took of the cabriolet I spoke about. I don't want to be a pain in the butt for the shop as I may want him to do the interior of my 51 when I am ready. That may be a year or so but if you are still looking once I contract my interior I may be in a better position to push the issue.

Understood. When possible. It will probably be at least that long before I get to the Cabriolet. I am presently working on a 24 Star Touring, and 28 Durant Sedan and my 29 Chev Sedan. Busy busy. I was just going back though old posts to see where they were.
Thanks.

What I am looking for is some guidance for the panels that would go inside the Quarters on either side of the seat in case anyone has pictures or information. Thanks to all.

Robin,

Old post I know.

Going through some old letters from the 29 TA, Lew Clark, he said that all 29 Cabriolets had black proxiline (like oil Cloth) upholstery and dark tan tops.

Hi Dave yes I found a piece of original interior material. What I mostly need is a picture or pattern of the quarter panels on either side of the seat and either side of the rumble seat. Here is picture of the material I salvaged from one door. Almost looks like top material. I believe the convertible top was made from the same thing.
I since determined the same seat as a coupe was used and have a new seat frame almost completed. I also got lucky recently and found front seat springs as well as the springs and wood for the rumble seat. Need to find a source of new material and figure out how the side panels are for the quarters. Thanks.
