OP GMGuyBob Backyard Mechanic Joined: Jun 2015 Posts: 269 Pennsylvania	When I try to pull out hard in first or second the car bucks so bad I have to let off the gas and sometimes upshift. It typically happens before the engine is totally up to temperature. I am thinking it may be to lean. It seem fine after it gets hot. 31 Chevy Roadster 64 Corvette 76 Corvette 77 Grand Prix

When it's cold, remove the air cleaner and open the throttle. The choke blade should snap shut. If it's not doing that, it's set too lean. Verne
