My husband has a 55 chevy stepside and I had a question that I need answered. His truck has a big back window. I know that some have small back windows. Why were there two different window sizes? Was one standard and the other an option?
Any responses would be appreciated!

Post this under "Chevy trucks" and you will get some expert answers with some evidence to back it up.

PS-I have a '55 pu, long bed, 3/4 ton, with the small back window.

The extra wide rear window was an option.
