Does my 62 impala 327 supposed to have a brake check valve on the tee fitting on the rear of the carb for the line to the power brake booster?Thanks for any info.rlbjrfl

The check valve slips into the power unit and the vacuum hose fits in the valve.

As Gene said, the check valve is plastic and plugs into the face of the booster itself. The fitting at the rear of the carb is just a barbed hose fitting.
